365 days of my 2017  marked a very memorable year not only for me but also for all the people who became part of it. Still my life is like a roller coaster ride. Full of ups and downs, fast and slow, smooth and rough. That never change. But one thing I'm sure about, life is a journey and a person's character is like a gold tested in fire. Through trials and hardships develops one's character and make him stronger.

As I recall the months, weeks, days, hours and second I spend last year, I said to myself "Somehow I did great".

It was last year when I decided to continue my schooling as a BTTE-Student in TUP-C. At first I was excited because finally there is a change of me to have a Bachelors's diploma. I took the entrance exams and passed then I enrolled in the University. But before the school year starts, my mother was hospitalized and I need to skip the class for two weeks. Good thing that I was able to catch up.

So aside from the dilemma I had last year, one of the highlights of my 2017 is my travel goals. Yes indeed I somehow manage to go out and have fun!

I Spend my first month of the year in Zamboanga City, my mom's hometown, with my family and stayed there for two months. Indeed we had so much fun more travels in Zamboanga Peninzula.

Zamboanga City Philippines, January 2017

It March when I arrived in Manila from Zamboanga City and it is really melting place to be. The temperature reached up to 40 degrees (Heat Index) According to Philippine Daily Inquirer "The Philippines once again experienced heat reaching feverish levels on Friday, with Metro Manila registering a heat index of 38.5 degrees Celsius".

Since is technically summer I attended summer convention last April 13-15 2017 held in Goshen farm, Bamban, Tarlac. It was a great time for meditation and spiritual healing with my fellow Young Adult's Ministry in Church of God DasmariƱas Cavite.  It was Literally hot and mind-body exhaustion but super fun activities and life changing event for us.

So after the camp, It's time to go back to our normal routinary life again, and because of the soaring temp in Luzon I decided to spend my entire summer in Baguio City. There the temperature rise at 22° during midday and below 18° in the evening.

Camp John Hay Baguio City, April 20-May 29, 2017

Camp John Hay - Rocky Mountain Company. May 2017
During summer in Baguio City I stayed in my uncle's barracks in Camp John Hay. I help him in his coffee business, the Arabica Coffe. There I learned to the different kinds/types of coffee bean and how to plant coffee tree. Coffee business is one of the tough business I know considering the return of investment will take a minimum of four year. Why? because on average it takes about five-years  for the coffee bean to bush to reach maturity, at which point yields estimated to one 800 grams of coffee fruit per tree, depending on the the location. temperature, shade, wind, amount of rainfall, the soil and other factors.

Here's more of the highlights of my trip this 2017:

TUP-C BTTE-A Family SY' 2017-2018
Meeting new friends in TUP-C. I had so much cool experience with them. we are more than classmates, we are friends besides from our differences, we are tropa, barkadas, walwal buddies in the making. haha.

We are now in the second semester but we will still make memories that we will remember after. Together we will face trials and hardships in our academics responsibilities for this is the first stepping stone we need to overcome for a better future.

Last year was a remarkable year for our family and relatives as well. In spite of our busy schedules we manage to have time for leisure and get-together. This photo is taken from Sta. Rosa Laguna. A fun trip with my cousins and siblings.

Enchanted Kingdom,Santa Rosa, Laguna June 2, 2017

The trip didn't end there, The week after, we manage to go and have relaxing time with my mom and my sisters. My mom came home from Singapore a day after. This photo is taken from Manila Ocean Park with my immediate family.

Jose Reyes Hospital - Tanauan City Batangas - June 12, 2017
Because of this trip my mom's body is physically exhausted that caused her to be hospitalized, June 12, 2017. This is one of the the problem I face during that time. It was tough.

My mom need to stay in the hospital for two week due to lung failure and multiple organ complication.

Her immune system is gradually slowing down. a mass of jelly like liquid found inside her right lung that caused her to be oxygen dependent for more than a week.

We almost lost her,  but thank God she survived. We survived.

I had a very stressful months, I need a quick break so I decided to go hiking :D
It was great experience that challenges both physical and mental strength, your patient and as well as your pocket! :D But to tell you the truth, it is worth a shot! I'm looking for another hiking adventure This year!

Mt. Ulap - Itogon Benguet   August 2017

A “mini-Mt. Ugo” which showcases the best of what the Cordilleras has to offer: Pine and grassland ridges with stunning views of the mountains, and even a glimpse of culture with villages, burial caves, and hanging bridges.

The Mt. Ulap Eco-Trail in Itogon, Benguet is the perfect dayhike from Baguio City, only 40 minutes away from Burnham Park by public jeepney.

Spanning around 8 kilometres through several peaks along the Ampucao-Sta. Fe Ridge (not to be confused with the Philex Ridge), it is easy enough to be completed from 4-6 hours, making it feasible as a dayhike or even a half-dayhike for hikers of all levels.

Mt. Gulugod Baboy September 2017

Gulugod-Baboy is the general term that describes the hills that traverse Calumpan Peninsula in Mabini, Batangas. Located in Southern Batangas, the peninsula is more known for the diving resorts of Anilao – the birthplace of Philippine scuba diving. Since dive enthusiasts are also enthusiasts for anything ‘outdoor’, they began exploring the hills, and soon, Gulugod Baboy became a hiking destination on its right, although today it remains a popular sidetrip to a diving escapade to Anilao, or to the nearby Sombrero or Maricaban islands.

Another month to celebrate! Here are the photos taken from my trip to La Virginia Resorts Leisure park and amusement resort. It was a great place to visit! The resorts is nestled on a hillside amid 8 hectares of lush, secluded grounds, this relaxed resort with views of Taal Lake is 6 Km from the  President Jose P. Laurel Highway. You will surely enjoy the views and amenities in this resort.

And the last trip I had last year was in El Nido - Palawan last December 26-30 2017. That trip perhaps is the most memorable adventure I had so far. El Nido Palawan is a very amazing place to visit! It is one of the best island and beaches to explore, a relaxing escape from everyday.

What I am trying to say is that, if you are planning to go on a vacation you should try here. Set at the end of Ocean it turned out to be a perfect place to stay. The place is tranquil and calm to remind yourself that a few moments of relaxation is essential.

The view is splendid. You can see the marvelous creation God has made, the rocks formation, mountains, seabed, all about nature away from the busy days in the city streets. To be able to dip out of the full on noise of the bars and restaurants and retreat to such a relaxing haven such a short distance away was perfect.    7 Commandos Beach, Big Lagoons, Small Lagoons, Secret Lagoons, Shimizu Island, Snake Island, Cathedral Cave, and much more. depends on the Tour Package that you will choose. But I do guarantee that it is all worth it!

El Nido Palawan December 2017
The Story of El Nido
Formerly known as Bacuit, the town was renamed El Nido in 1954, a name that derives from swiftlets’ nest found in the crevices of limestone cliff.
But its splendor has long been hidden to the world until a sea accident happened in 1979 that led to its discovery. Now, El Nido is one of the most popular tourist spots in the Philippines known for its wonder of nature.

Another year ended and all experience is not only captured in cameras but also in my heart. Time well-spend is surely a treasure to keep. All the adventures, experiences, whether good or bad is all part of our daily life, it is up to us if how we keep the pace. Look back but continually move forward, for as the clock ticks the time goes-by, noticeably. The old man says "Time is of your own making, spend it wisely".
